Â
Hog Hunters Guiding is run by two Calgary locals Jaden and Maksym. Growing up in Alberta we spent our lives exploring the Rockies, the prairies, and everything in between.
Â
The Bow River has been our backyard for more than half our lives, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We started this company because we're passionate about fly fishing and want to share that experience with others.
Â
We're a small, dedicated team that cares deeply about the land, the fish, and making sure every client leaves with a smile on their face.

Guiding Packages
Walk & Wade
Get up close and personal with the river. Wade fishing puts you right in the water, reading currents, learning the seams and structure that hold fish. You'll cover less water but fish each run more thoroughly. This is a great way to really connect with the river and dial in your technique.Â
300-400$
Drift boat
Cover a lot of prime water in a single day. From the boat you'll present your fly to countless runs, riffles and pools that most anglers never reach on foot. More water means more fish seen, more opportunities, and more action throughout the day. The drift boat also gives you a comfortable, stable platform to cast from while we work the best holding water efficiently.
500-600$
The difference
Float trips give you the best bang for your buck. More water, more fish, more action.
Â
The drift boat lets us cover prime runs all day long that most anglers never reach on foot.
Â
Simply put, more water equals more opportunity, making it the best choice for an unforgettable day on the water. However this depends on how you want to fish.

There is also full days (8 hours) and half days (4 hours).

For Walk and wade full day is 6.5 (Hours)
